Collaborate Server Roles
Collaborate application services run on the following servers:
Web and Application Server: The application server is essential for running the application and it includes the web servers for the front-end and background operations. It balances the load between user requests and the business logic of the application. It also provides application security and a centralized management interface. The Backend, Celery, Analyst Portal, Member Portal, and Fusion-export services run on the web and application server.
Database Server: The database servers provide the database services for the Collaborate application. The database servers used in Collaborate are Redis, PostgreSQL, and Object Storage.
