Events
Participate and submit requests for events such as summits, expert webinar series, meetings, and more. Analysts create event alerts and these events appear in your event calendar in the Member Portal. You can also submit requests to analysts to schedule events based on your preference.
View Events
As a member, you can view all the events scheduled for you, in the events calendar. In the Member Portal, click Events and use the following information:
Click any event in the calendar to view more details. You can view the start and end date of the event, along with the location (URL) of the event. The start and end time displayed here is based on your browser time. In About Event, you can view more information about the event. Respond to events by clicking Attend, Maybe, or Not Attending. Analysts can view your responses to events in the Analyst Portal.
Click Download Events to download an ICS file of all event-related information based on the date range specified by you. You can use this file to import events to other calendar applications of your choice.
To view the history of all events, as well as events submitted by you, click the vertical ellipsis, and click Events History.
In the email alert for the event, you can view the event timing based on the time zone selected by the analyst while scheduling the event, as well as the event location and URL.
Submit Event Requests
As a member, you can submit requests to schedule events to analysts for approval. All approved and published events appear in the events calendar.
Steps
To submit an event request, follow these steps:
In the Member Portal, click Events.
Click Submit Event Request. Use the following information while submitting event requests:
Basic Details: Enter the title and description of the event. This helps the analyst gain more insight into the event.
Event Schedule: Specify the timezone, date, time, location, and URL of the event. The default timezone is determined by your browser settings.
Preview: A preview of the event is displayed for your reference.
After entering the details, click Submit. Analysts can now view your request and based on approval, this event is published as an alert and will be available in the events calendar. You can also view the event alert in Alerts, where the alert category is Event.
If your event request is not approved, you can view this in Events History along with the comment from the analyst.
