If two-factor authentication using email or TOTP is enabled for the Email and LDAP authentication methods, enter the OTP to access the application.

Register TOTP Authenticator App

To configure two-factor authentication using TOTP for Email and LDAP authentication methods, you must register a TOTP authenticator app. Download and install a TOTP authenticator app, such as Okta, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator, on your mobile device.

To register a TOTP authenticator app with a Cyware application, do the following:

  1. Sign in to the application using valid credentials of Email or LDAP authentication method.

  2. Select TOTP.

  3. Open the TOTP authenticator app on your mobile device and select add account.

  4. Scan the QR code or manually enter the application URL and security key that are displayed on the sign-in page to create an account. The authenticator app provides a six-digit time-based OTP.

  5. Go to the sign-in page and enter the OTP.

  6. Click Register.

  7. Download the recovery codes. When the TOTP authenticator app fails to authenticate, you can use one of the recovery codes to re-register your authenticator app.

Reset Sign in Password

You can reset your sign-in password either from the sign-in page of the CSAP Member Portal.

To reset your password from the sign-in page, do the following,

  1. Go to the sign-in page of the application.

Your password is reset and you can sign in using the new password.

Choose 2FA Authentication Method

Sign in to the CSAP Member portal and choose a default 2FA method. You can later update this selection from your profile settings. See Member Profile.

Administrators can enable one or more of the email, TOTP, or SMS authentication types from the Analyst Portal.

To choose your 2FA method, do the following:

  1. While signing in, select one of the authentication options from SMS, TOTP, or Email.

    Note

If TOTP authentication is your chosen 2FA method, it is recommended that you download recovery codes at the time of registration so you have access to your account even if you lose credentials. If you have lost the recovery codes, and are not able to sign in, contact the administrator to reset TOTP authentication.

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Enter the OTP, and click Verify. You are signed in to the application.

  4. Click Try Another Method to Sign In, if you want to choose a different 2FA authentication method.
