Release Notes 3.7.4
August 9, 2023
We are excited to introduce you to the latest version of Collaborate (CSAP) v3.7.4. This release includes new features, enhancements, and minor bug fixes.
Analyst Portal
Intelligence Requirements New
Intelligence Requirements (IRs) are information requests that help you gain insights into a particular subject over a specified time period. IRs guide the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber intelligence to support decision-making and information sharing. As an analyst, you can:
Review and publish IRs submitted by members. You can ensure the submitted IRs meet the necessary criteria and align with the overall cybersecurity strategy of your organization.
Create IRs directly in the Analyst Portal and make them available for members to follow.
You can also attach IRs while creating alerts. This helps you enhance the effectiveness and context of the alert.
For more information, see Intelligence Requirements.
Other Enhancements
While adding or editing fields in Field Management, you can now add field descriptions. This field description appears as an info icon in the Member Portal, giving members more context about the field.
The listing page for open API credentials is now enhanced for a better user experience. You can separately view the credentials generated by analysts and members. You can also view credential details such as the number of API calls made using the credentials, when it was last used, and more.
You now have the flexibility to incorporate support details into the Member Portal sign-in page. This helps you assist members encountering login challenges, security inquiries, account recovery, and more. For more information, see Support.
Member Portal
Intelligence Requirements New
As a member, you can use Intelligence Requirements to know more about the types of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, attack patterns, or other cybersecurity-related insights that are most relevant to your organization.
Submit IRs when you need specific information about a particular subject over a period of time. During the time period of the IR, you can view relevant information in the form of alerts. These alerts serve as a means to deliver focused and timely information directly related to your intelligence requirements.
You can also opt to follow published IRs that match your cybersecurity interests.
Additionally, while viewing alerts, you can also view IRs that are attached to alerts.
For more information, see Intelligence Requirements.
Intel Library Enhanced
The Cyware Query Language (CQL) search now supports two new parameters which are Related Object Property and Custom Attribute Type. These new parameters along with the existing ones help you comprehensively search for threat intel objects in the Intel Library.
Open API Enhancements
The Create Alert and Update Alert APIs now support the linking of alerts using alert IDs. For more information, see CSAP API Documentation.
Bug Fixes
The issue with the Create button not appearing in Settings > Member Location has been resolved.
Deprecated Elements
While using the rich text editor, the option to select if a URL opens in a new tab or the same tab is now removed. By default, all URLs now always open in a new tab.
