Release Notes 3.4
Enhancements
Make Tags Mandatory for Alert and Intel Submission
CSAP provides the administrators with the ability to decide whether or not to make tags mandatory for alert creation.
Tags help analysts in correlating alerts, identifying information in alerts, and notifying users about alert content.
Links to Knowledge Base
CSAP now provides the ability to share Knowledge Base links between CSAP users.
The KB articles now have a Unique ID and link displayed against them.
Users can easily copy and paste a KB link and share its details with other users.
Share the KB links with alerts.
Sharing KB links can help analysts to collaborate better and provide valuable context when required.
View Last 7 Days Alerts
By default, the CSAP alert dashboard now shows all the alerts modified in the last 7 days. This makes sure that only the latest alerts are displayed on the dashboard reducing clutter and showcasing the most relevant information.
Analysts have the option to provide a custom date range and view all the alerts published in that date range.
Open API Roles and Permissions
CSAP Analysts can now create roles for CSAP Open API access. Using roles, analysts can control and restrict members’ access to CSAP features. Analysts can then assign the role to members while generating API credentials.
Export RFI Responses
Analysts can now export Request For Information (RFI) responses to a CSV file for offline analysis. They can also use the exported responses to create alerts.
View Inactivated Member Details
Analysts can now view the following details of inactive members:
Data and time when the member was made inactive
Email address of the analyst who inactivated the member
Custom Email Templates for Threat Intel
Analysts can now use the following new, in-built, and customizable threat intel email templates to send email notifications to analysts and members:
Intel updated by intel approver/sector approver
Intel awaiting review
Intel updated by analyst
Intel submission acknowledgement
Intel submitted by member for review
