The CSAP 3.4.2 release introduces the latest Traffic Light Protocol (TLP) version 2.0, to help organizations standardize threat intel sharing.
New Feature
Support for TLP 2.0
CSAP is now compliant with TLP version 2.0, which is the latest version of TLP standardized by the Forum of Incident Response and Security Team (FIRST). The Traffic Light Protocol (TLP) is a set of designations that ensures sensitive information is correctly shared with the appropriate recipients.
Analysts and members using CSAP Analyst Portal and Member Portal can now adapt to TLP 2.0 and apply it in all features such as alert creation, intel submission, doc library, and so on.
Analysts can upgrade to TLP 2.0 from the Analyst Portal and apply it across the platform.
Members can request analysts to apply TLP 2.0 and start using it in the Member Portal.
Important
CSAP Enterprise Mobile app users must upgrade to the latest version to start using TLP 2.0.
The following latest TLP 2.0 standard updates are available in CSAP:
Use the TLP:CLEAR instead of TLP:WHITE to indicate that information can be shared without any restriction.
Use TLP:AMBER+STRICT to restrict information sharing between members within an organization.
