Distribute Incident Usage across Business Units

You can distribute the daily incident limit among the business units. Allocate the number of incidents a business unit can create per day. After a business unit reaches its daily limit, users cannot create incidents for that business unit until the incident consumption resets for the day.

To distribute incident creation usage across business units, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Admin Panel > License Management.

  2. In Incident Consumption, turn on the Distribute Incidents toggle, and click the Edit icon. You can view the following details:

    • Daily Limit: View the maximum number of incidents that can be created across the business units per day.

    • Allocated: View the daily limit of incidents allocated to the business units.

    • Utilized: View the number of incidents created on a day across business units.

    • Not Allocated: View the number of incidents that are not allocated to any business unit.

  3. In the table, enter the number of incidents you want to allocate to the business units.

    Note

The number of incidents allocated to a business unit must be less than or equal to the daily limit and utilized count.

  4. Click Save.

The incident allocation to the business units is updated. After the allocated limit is reached for a business unit, users cannot create incidents for that business unit.
