Configure Workflow Mappings

Workflow Mapping enables CFTR Admins to map an Incident Workflow to a set of parameters and their values. When an incident is created with the set of parameters that are mapped to an Incident Workflow, the mapped Incident Workflow is automatically applied to the incident. To view the list of mappings, go to Admin Panel > Form Management > Incident > Workflow Mapping.

You can configure the parent parameters for up to four parameters. Only single-select fields from the Preparation tab can be configured as parent parameters.

Configure Parent Parameters

You can define the set of parent parameters for workflow mappings. Perform the following steps to configure the parent parameters:

  1. Go to Form Management > Incident > Workflow Mappings.

  2. Click Configure Parent Parameters.

  3. Select the parent parameters from the drop-down lists.

  4. Click Save.

The configured parent parameters appear as column names on Workflow Mappings.

Create a Workflow Mapping

To create a workflow mapping:

  1. On Workflow Mappings, click New Mapping.

  2. Select the Incident Workflow name and the parent parameters from the drop-down lists.

  3. Click the save icon.

The Workflow Mapping appears in the list of Incident Workflows.

Update a Workflow Mapping

To update a workflow mapping:

  1. On Workflow Mappings, click Edit on a workflow mapping row.

  2. Update the Incident Workflow name or the parent parameters from the drop-down lists.

  3. Click Save.
