Rename Incident Module

You can update the Incident module name and the module identifier as per your organizational requirements. A module identifier is a three-letter prefix that is used to identify the ID of a specific module.

Note

You can rename the module name and the module identifier for the Incident module only.

To update the Incident module name, do the following:

  1. Go to Admin Panel > Form Management > Incident.

  2. Next to the Incident tab, click More (vertical ellipsis) and select Configure.

  3. Update the module details:

    • Module Name: Update the default module name (Incident) a unique name for the module. Enter a module name in its singular form. For example, Case and Event.

    • Module Identifier: Update the default module identifier with a new unique three-letter identifier in capital letters. For example, CAS and EVE. By default, the module identifier for incidents is INC.

      Note

This must be a three-letter identifier without spaces, special characters, or numbers.

  4. Click Save.

The incident module name is updated and the IDs of all the existing incidents are updated with the new module identifier. For example, if you have renamed the Incident module to Event with the prefix EVE, then all the existing incidents with the prefix INC are updated to EVE, such as #EVE123.

The new module name appears throughout the CFTR application, such as:

  • Option under +New on the top app bar

  • Module name in the Menu and Form Management

  • Feature/Functionality name in User Group Management

  • Dashboards

  • Incidents configuration under Configurations

  • SLA configuration

  • Template Management

  • ML Configuration

  • Rule Engine
