Configure Incident Notification Email Template

The Incident Notification email templates are used by Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to send email notifications to their clients about incident creation in their CFTR applications. You can configure email templates for the first notification and the follow-up notifications for each client.

To configure the email template, do the following:

  1. Go to Admin Panel > Email Customization.

  2. Under Incident Notification, on a template, click More and select Edit Template.

  3. Turn on the toggle to enable the email template.

  4. At the top-right, in Business Unit, select a business unit for which you want to use the template.

    Note

    The name of this field might differ based on the name configured by your administrator in Admin Panel > Settings > Business Unit.

  5. In the template editing area, do the following:

    • Enter a subject for the email. Emails will be sent with this subject line.

    • Update the body of the email.

  6. To use incident fields in the email subject or body, select the following fields on the right:

    • COMMON FIELDS (PREPARATION): Select the incident fields from the Preparation phase.

    • ADDITIONAL FIELDS: Search or filter to select fields from a specific incident workflow or phase.

  7. To configure the email template as default, click Set as default template at the top of the template editing area.

  8. To send the email to the recipients of the business unit, on the right, click Recipients of Notification.

    Note

    You can configure the recipients of the email notification for a business unit in Admin Panel > Settings > Business Unit. For more information, see Manage Business Units.

  9. To view a preview of the email, on the top-right, click Preview.

  10. Click Save.
