Create Custom Report

On the Reports page, you can customize and create a report. To create a report:

  1. Go to Menu > Reports.

  2. Click Add New Report.

  3. In Report Title, enter a title for the report.

  4. Enter the following details:

    • Report Format: Select one of the following report formats:

      • PDF

      • XLS

      • XLSX

      Note

      Visual representations of the widgets, such as bar charts and pie charts, are applicable in PDF format only. If you select XLS or XLSX, the report includes data in a tabular format only.

    • Date Range: Select a date range of the data to be included in the report.

    • Page Orientation: Select the PDF page orientation of the report.

    • Page Size: Select the PDF page size of the report. Currently, CFTR supports A4 size only.

    • Logo: Upload the logo that you want to use in the report. Also, select the options to use the logo in the header and footer of the report.

    • Header: Select the check box to add the text that you want to add in the header of the PDF report.

    • Footer: Select the check box to add the page number in the footer of the PDF report.

  5. To add widgets, do the following:

    1. Click Add Widget.

    2. Search and select a widget from the widget library. If a widget is not available in the widget library, you can create a custom widget. For more information, see Create Widget.

  6. Click Save Report.

Note

The profile time zone of the creator reflects in the reports.

Schedule Report

You can schedule report generation and send reports to both internal and external stakeholders. To schedule a report generation, do the following:

  1. Go to Menu > Reports and select a report.

  2. Click Edit Report.

  3. Click Schedule Report and enter the following details:

    • Select User(s): Select the users who will receive the report.

    • Select Group(s): Select the user groups to filter the users.

    • Select Other Contact(s): Enter the email ID of the recipients separated by a comma.

    • Choose Schedule: Select one of the following schedules:

      Note

      Your profile time zone automatically applies to the once, daily, weekly, and monthly schedules. For cron schedules, the default time zone is your profile time zone. You can select a different time zone from the drop-down.

      • Once: The report schedule runs once at the specified date and time. Select a date and time at which the report schedule runs.

      • Daily: The report schedule runs every day at the specified date and time. Enter the start date and time, and select one of the following options to specify the expiry of the schedule:

        • End Date: Select a date after which the report schedule expires.

        • Total Interval: Enter the number of occurrences after which the report schedule expires.

        Note

        The report schedule never expires if you do not specify the end date or the total interval.

      • Weekly: The report schedule runs every week on the specified days at the specified date and time. Enter the start date, time, and expiry, and select the days of the week on which the report schedule runs.

      • Monthly: The report schedule runs every month on the specified days at the specified date and time. Enter the start date, time, and expiry, and select a day of the month on which the report schedule runs.

      • Cron: The report schedule executes as per the schedule defined in the cron expression. Enter the start date and time, and enter the following details:

  4. Click Schedule.

  5. Click Save.

The profile time zone of the creator reflects in the reports.
