Create Custom Dashboard

You can create custom dashboards by bringing together various key metrics as per the preferences of the analyst. With a custom dashboard set up, you can:

  • Design and portray data differently with Layouts compared to the default dashboard.

  • Create personalized dashboard views by customizing them with dynamic widgets from the library and placing them onto a custom dashboard grid.

  • Customize the Dashboard type as Static or Rotating to suit various monitoring needs.

  • Add, Delete, Replace, and Export data of Individual Information widgets from Dashboard.

  • Share Dashboard with peers and clients via links or export as PDFs.

Note

You must have the Create/Update permissions for Dashboards to create a custom dashboard.

Perform the following steps to create a custom dashboard:

  1. On Dashboards, click Add Dashboard.

  2. Enter the following dashboard details:

    • Dashboard Title: Enter the title of the dashboard.

    • Description: Enter the description of the dashboard.

    • Select Layout: Select a layout type for the dashboard. You can select either the preconfigured layout templates or the custom layout.

    • Select Dashboard Type: Select the dashboard type: Static or Rotating.

      Note

      The dashboards display two columns of a row at a time. If a row includes more than two columns, select the dashboard type as RotatingDashboard to view the columns at a specific rotation interval.

  3. If the dashboard type is Rotating Dashboard, enter the rotation duration between 30 seconds and 1800 seconds.

  4. Click Create.

  5. On Overview Widget, do the following:

    1. Click a widget tile.

    2. Click the (+) icon to add a widget.

      Note

      If the required widget is not available in the Widget Library, you can create your custom widget. For more information, see Manage Widgets.

  6. To add Information Widgets, do the following:

    1. Hover over the cursor on Add Row and select the number of columns for the row.

    2. Click a widget tile.

    3. Click the (+) icon to add a widget.

  7. Click Save Dashboard.
