Update Software
After the software is added, you can access the software from Menu > Software. Search and click the software title to open the software. To get a quick overview of the software, click Show Overview on the right. Overview displays some basic details of the software, such as software ID, created and last updated dates, labels added to the software to categorize it, connected modules, and added notes. Use the following CFTR features to update the software:
Summary: Displays the details of the software, such as software publisher, software type, version, and more.
Notes: Add notes of the actions performed on the software.
Activity Logs: Displays a list of all software updates.
Connect the Dots: Connect other CFTR modules that are related to the software to gain contextual information. For more information, see Connect the Dots.
Actions: Add actions for the tasks that are required for the software. For more information, see Create Action.
To update a software, do the following:
On the Software page, select a software. The software details page appears.
On the left pane, click a tab.
To update a field, hover over the cursor on a field and click the Edit icon.
Update the field and click the Save icon.
You can also view the update history of a field. To view the update history of a field, hover over the cursor on a field and click the History icon. History page appears that displays the update history of the field.
Update Software Status
You can update the status of a software on the software details page. Following are the list of status of a software:
Active
Inactive
On the software details page:
On the top-right corner, click the drop-down list.
Select a status. A confirmation message appears.
Click Yes, Proceed.
