Update Application

After the application is added, you can access the application from Menu > Applications. Search and click the application title to open the application. To get a quick overview of the application, click Show Overview on the right. Overview displays some basic details of the application, such as application ID, created and last updated dates, labels added to the application to categorize it, connected modules, and added notes. Use the following CFTR features to update the application:

  • Summary: Displays the details of the application, such as application URL, application type, location, and more.

  • Notes: Add notes of the actions performed on the application.

  • Activity Logs: Displays a list of all application updates.

  • Connect the Dots: Connect other CFTR modules that are related to the application to gain contextual information. For more information, see Connect the Dots.

  • Application Rating: Rate the application based on availability, risk, compliance, business criticality, and more.

  • Actions: Add actions for the tasks that are required for the application. For more information, see Create Action.

  • Enhancements: Add enhancements for the tasks that are required for the application. For more information, see Create Enhancement.

To update an application, do the following:

  1. On the Applications page, select an application. The device details page appears.

  2. On the left pane, click a tab.

  3. To update a field, hover over the cursor on a field and click the Edit icon.

  4. Update the field and click the Save icon.

You can also view the update history of a field. To view the update history of a field, hover over the cursor on a field and click the History icon. History page appears that displays the update history of the field.

Update Application Status

You can update the status of an application on the Applications page and the application details page. Following are the list of status of an application:

  • Active

  • Inactive

Perform one of the following to update the status of an application:

  • On the Applications page:

    1. On the STATUS column, click the Edit icon.

    2. From the Status drop-down list, select a status.

    3. Click the Save icon.

  • On the application details page:

    1. On the top-right corner, click the drop-down list.

    2. Select a status. A confirmation message appears.

    3. Click Yes, Proceed.
