Cyware Orchestrate

Release Notes 3.5.3

November 2, 2023

We are excited to introduce you to the latest version of Orchestrate v3.5.3. This release includes new features and enhancements.

Just-in-Time Provisioning and SAML Group Authorization New

The SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) feature in Orchestrate now offers a more streamlined authorization process by leveraging identity provider (IdP) applications such as Okta. Analysts can now configure the SAML authentication method to provide new and existing analysts with appropriate permissions while signing in to the Orchestrate application.

Analysts can map the SAML group names to Orchestrate's user groups. The Orchestrate user groups must match the IdP's group name to grant users the appropriate access.

Note

Upgrade Note: If you are currently using SAML for authentication and wish to set up role-based authorization, after upgrade you must first map the SAML group names with the corresponding user groups in Orchestrate. Orchestrate is set to use a default group attribute value, which is memberOf, and expects the SAML assertion response to contain the value of memberOf for the group attribute. If you are using a different group attribute value, you can change it in the SAML configuration.

For more information, see Create User Group and Configure SAML 2.0 as the Authentication Method.
