Import Multiple Versions of the Same App

Orchestrate enables analysts to import different versions of the same app. The imported app with a higher version will not replace the previous app version. For example, you can import three different versions (1.0.0, 1.4.0, and 1.5.0) of the CTIX app in Orchestrate. Later, when defining a Playbook workflow, you can select the required app version to be used for an app-action node.

You can also view the app details that are specific to a version such as actions, instances, and associated Playbooks. This helps to identify which exact version of the app you want to include in a Playbook workflow.

Before you Start

Ensure that you have the Import App permission.

Steps

Import App Package

You can import the app package on the Apps listing page.

To import an app package:

  1. Sign in to Orchestrate, and go to Main Menu > App.

  2. Click Import App Package.

  3. Upload the required app package.

View App Details for Different Versions

You can view the app details such as the actions, instances, and linked Playbooks based on their versions from the app’s details page.

To view app details:

  1. Go to Main Menu > Apps.

  2. Click My Apps.

  3. Click the app you have imported.

  4. Click the version dropdown to see the list of imported app versions.

  5. Click on a version name to view the associated app details.
