Cyware Orchestrate

Release Notes 3.5.2

September 27, 2023

We are excited to introduce you to the latest version of Orchestrate v3.5.2. This release includes a new feature and a few enhancements.

Resume Playbook Execution from a Node New

Orchestrate now allows you to seamlessly recover from playbook execution errors without rerunning the entire playbook from the beginning. The new feature allows you to resume playbook execution from any node by reusing data from previously executed nodes.

The graphic below shows an example where a playbook execution failed because the app instance lacked configuration for node number 3. In this case, you can simply select an instance for the app and continue the playbook execution from the node where it encountered an error.

Cyware Agent Enhanced

The following enhancements are introduced in the Cyware Agent module for administrators:

  • You can now view the versions of the associated agents along with other details. This helps analysts troubleshoot Cyware Agent errors by keeping administrators informed with the agent version and host details.

  • You can now view the count of agent tasks associated with an agent. You can also view the list of tasks, their status, and the associated playbooks by clicking on the task count of all the agents you have access to.

Other Enhancements

  • The functionality that allows users to synchronize variables from rich text fields within playbook action nodes has been renamed from Sync Keys to Sync Variables. Rich text fields are supported for sending emails from playbooks.
