Execute Playbooks

How can a Playbook be executed automatically?

You can trigger auto-execution of a Playbook via an event from one of the following sources:

  • Syslogs

  • Webhooks

  • Cyware Open APIs

  • Platform Trigger (Navigate to Triggered Events in the main navigation menu).You can also trigger a Playbook execution based on the cron expressions at a specific day and time.

Can we trigger an inactive Playbook?

No. Only Playbooks in Active state can be triggered and run.

How to run Playbooks based on triggers from Triggered Events (Source Events) and Configure Triggers?

Playbooks makes use of Labels that act as a bridge to trigger Playbooks from Source Events or Configured Events.
