Cyware Orchestrate

Onboard Users

Orchestrate supports role-based access control (RBAC) to categorize users into specific user groups based on the role, and define permissions based on the functional requirements of the roles.

Orchestrate provides the following out-of-the-box user groups: 

  • Cyware Orchestrate Admin: The admin user group includes view, create, and update permissions to all features of Orchestrate. You cannot remove all users from this user group and it must include at least one active user.

  • Cyware Orchestrate Read-Only: The read-only user group has view-only permissions to specific features of Orchestrate. Users of this group are referred to as read-only users. This user group includes the following permissions:

    • View and approve playbooks

    • View run logs, dashboards, apps, and app instances

    • View persistent lists, code snippets, email templates, and labels and configure triggers

    • View data sync and Cyware Agent tasks

    • Create a saved search

You can also create custom user groups and read-only user groups and define permissions based on the functional requirements of the roles. For more information about permissions, see User Groups Permission Set.

Your license includes a specific limit for creating read-only users.
