Manage Certificates
A certificate is a data file used as an internet security technique that establishes the identity, authenticity, and reliability of a source.
In CTIX, administrators can add and manage certificates to authenticate the feed sources configured for receiving threat intel. These certificates authenticate the communication between CTIX and the feed source using the TAXII URL functionality.
Before you Start
You must have the View Certificates, Create Certificates, and Manage Certificates permissions.
Steps
To add the certificate, do the following:
Navigate to Administration, and select Certificates.
Click Add Certificate.
Enter a unique name to identify the certificate.
Click Upload Certificate and browse for .cert or .pem format certificate to upload. The server uses this certificate to authenticate the identity of the source and ensures a connection is established between the source and the server.
Click Upload Private Key and browse the key shared by the source to decrypt the connection and authenticate the user.
Click Add Certificate.
You can add multiple certificates. Administrators can use these certificates while adding a STIX subscriber in CTIX.
