Cyware Threat Intelligence eXchange

General

Yes, CTIX shares the Cyware Confidence Score as a Custom Attribute with its subscribers. Whereas, the Confidence value shared with the subscribers represents the Source Confidence.

When an IOC is added to the allowed indicators list the confidence score becomes zero and you cannot filter the IOC even from rules. If you receive the same IOC as malicious from any sources, then you will have to manually remove it from the allowed indicators list.

Yes, you can reset the STIX subscriber credentials from Integration Management > STIX Subscribers > required subscriber ellipsis(...) > Reset Credentials. Copy and retain the new username and password.

You can access CTIX 3.0 on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.

Allowed Indicators - Indicators added to your allowed list. They are safe or not malicious.

False-Positive Indicators - False Positive indicators are a common issue in threat intelligence, security operations, and incident response. Mislabeled indicators of compromise or false security alerts indicate there is a problem when there isn’t. For analysts, they are a distraction from real problems and can result in wasted time and resources.

The date range selector in CTIX supports predefined date ranges of 7, 30, 60, 90, and 180 days. This enables you to conveniently choose the commonly used intervals for fetching and filtering data in the platform.

For example, in Threat Data, while filtering data based on the Source Created Date, you can directly choose from the predefined time frames of 30, 60, or 90 days to obtain the relevant data.

When selecting a predefined date range from the date selector, it affects the start and end dates in the following manner:

  • Start Date: When you select a predefined date range for the Start Date, the platform automatically sets the current date as the start date. It also calculates the end date based on the selected predefined range. For example, if you choose a 7-day predefined date range, the platform will automatically set the Start Date as the current date which is June 21, 2023, and the End Date as June 28, 2023.

  • End Date: When you select a predefined date range for the End Date, the platform automatically sets the end date as the current date. It also calculates the start date based on the selected predefined date range. For instance, if you select a 7-day predefined date range, the platform will automatically set the End Date as the current date which is June 21, 2023, and the Start Date as June 14, 2023.
