Create Task from Threat Mailbox

After you create intel, you can create a task to respond to the threats for containment, proactive prevention, or remediation.

To create a task, do the following:

  1. From Main Menu, open Threat Mailbox under Collection.

  2. Select the email feed for which you created the intel.

  3. Click Create Intel and select Tasks.

  4. Click Add Task, and enter the following details:

    1. Enter a description for the task.

    2. Assign the task to an assignee or to self. The assignee will receive an email notification with the details of the task.

    3. Select a priority for the task, such as high, medium, or low.

    4. Select the start date and time of the task.

  5. Click Done.

    You can view the task under Not Started.
