Legal Terms
The Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) defines acceptable and responsible use of Cyware products. It outlines permitted behaviors, prohibited activities, and compliance standards to ensure secure and ethical use of the platform within regulatory boundaries. For more information, see Cyware Acceptable Usage Policy.
You do not need to explicitly accept the AUP. By using the product, you automatically acknowledge and agree to comply with it. The banner is informational only and does not block access.
The banner remains visible until you dismiss it. Once dismissed, it does not reappear unless a new version of the AUP is released.
You can view the full Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) by clicking the link on the AUP banner or by navigating to Settings > Legal Terms > Acceptable Usage Policy within the product. You do not need admin privileges to access it, as the AUP is visible to all users and applies to every individual using the platform.
When Cyware releases an updated version of the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), the following changes occur:
A new banner appears in the product to notify you of the update.
By continuing to use the platform, you are considered to have accepted and agreed to comply with the updated AUP.
If you do not agree with the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), you must stop using the platform. Continuing to use it implies that you acknowledge and agree to comply with the policy.
No. The dismissal or acknowledgment of the banner is not audited or logged, as the AUP does not require formal acceptance.
The Services Agreement defines the terms and conditions under which your organization accesses and uses select features and services in Cyware products. It outlines the legal, commercial, and operational framework for your organization’s subscription, specifying the available offerings, how you use them, and how risks are allocated between you and Cyware. For more information, see Cyware Services Agreement.
Any user in your organization can accept the Services Agreement. However, the acceptance is on behalf of the entire organization and applies to all its users.
You must accept the Services Agreement to access services and features governed under it. This ensures legal compliance and acknowledgment of Cyware’s service terms before related features and services are activated.
You can accept the Services Agreement in one of the following ways:
From Settings > Legal Terms > Services Agreement in the Member Portal.
When you access a add-on service governed by the agreement from the main menu, a modal appears allowing you to review and accept the terms.
Note
At least one Cyware add-on service must be enabled for your organization to view the SA under Settings.
After you accept the Services Agreement, your organization gains access to the services and features governed by it. The acceptance record is stored securely with the timestamp and details of the user who accepted it.
Yes. You can opt out from Settings > Legal Terms > Services Agreement. However, once you opt out, access to all services and features governed by the Services Agreement is disabled immediately.
When Cyware releases a new version of the Services Agreement, the following changes occur:
A banner appears in the platform to notify you of the update.
By continuing to use the product, you are considered to have accepted the updated Services Agreement.
You can review the updated version anytime under Settings > Legal Terms > Services Agreement.
