Configure Cyware Compromised Credential Management (CCM)

The Cyware CCM app enables organizations to detect, manage, and mitigate risks associated with compromised user credentials. It continuously monitors credential threats and provides real-time visibility, helping to prevent unauthorized access, minimize data breaches, and secure sensitive systems and information.

Create a Cyware CCM Instance

You can configure a Cyware CCM instance to help monitor compromised credentials.

Steps

To create a Cyware CCM instance, follow these steps:

  1. Access CCM and click Manage Apps.

  2. From the App Store, choose Cyware CCM and click Install.

  3. To create an instance, click Configure and use the following information:

    • Instance Name : Enter a unique name for the Cyware CCM instance.

    • Instance Description (Optional): Enter the description for the instance.

    • Expiry (Optional): Select the expiration period for the instance. After the expiration period, the app stops working.

    • Set as default instance (Optional): Select this to set this instance as the default instance for polling data.

      Note

If there are no existing instances, then the instance you create will be added as the default instance.

    • Timeout (Optional): Enter the timeout value in seconds. This is the number of seconds that requests will wait to establish a connection with Cyware CCM. The allowed range is 15-120. By default, the timeout value is set to 15.

    • Domains (Optional): Enter one or more domains to retrieve associated compromised credentials. For example, sampledomain.com

    • Verify (Optional): Select this to verify SSL or TLS when making requests. It is recommended to enable this option. Not selecting it may lead to connection issues.

  4. To save the configuration and add the instance, click Add Instance.

After adding the instance, Cyware CCM retrieves data based on your settings, enabling CCM to monitor and analyze compromised credentials.
