Edit Playbooks

You can edit the details of an existing Playbook to suit your requirements.

It is not recommended to edit a playbook that is in one of the following statuses to avoid any unexpected behavior:

  • In Progress

  • In Queue

  • On Hold

  • Waiting

Steps

To edit a playbook, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Main Menu and select Playbooks > Manage Playbooks.

  2. Hover over a playbook and click the More icon, select Edit , or open a playbook and click Edit.

    To edit a sub-playbook, navigate to the sub-playbook and click Show Playbook. The playbook will open in a new tab, and click Edit to edit the sub-playbook.

  3. Edit the details as required and click Save.

    Note

    Starting from Orchestrate Next Gen v3.12.9, you can edit a playbook’s name by directly clicking the playbook name, entering the new name, and clicking anywhere outside the text box to save the changes.
