Activate or Deactivate Cyware Agent
You can activate or deactivate a Cyware Agent within a Cyware Agent Group to manage agent availability. When an agent is deactivated, it will not execute new tasks, while any tasks already in progress will continue until completion.

This feature is available in Orchestrate Next Gen v3.12.9 onwards.
Before you Start
Ensure you have Create and Update permissions for Agent.
Ensure you have installed at least one Cyware Agent. For more information, see Create Cyware Agent and Install Cyware Agent.
Steps
To activate or deactivate an agent, follow these steps:
Go to Admin Panel > Cyware Agent.
Select the Agent Group that contains the agent you want to activate or deactivate.
To activate an agent, go to the Inactive section and click the Activate button next to the agent.
Note
Only one Cyware Agent can remain active at a time. To activate another agent, first deactivate the currently active one.
To deactivate an agent, go to the Active section and click the Deactivate button next to the agent. In the confirmation pop-up, review the Playbooks and App Instances associated with the Agent and click Deactivate to confirm.
After deactivation, the agent stops executing new tasks associated with the Playbooks and App Instances. Any tasks that are in progress at the time of deactivation will still execute. Tasks in the queue remain in their current state and will resume after you activate another agent.
