Add Note

You can comment on the modules and maintain notes for reference. You can also add images to the notes. The images appear under the Attachment tab. Any user who has access to a module can view and add notes. You can also tag users in the notes using the @ symbol followed by their username. For the users who are tagged in the notes, the module appears in the Mentioned tab of the module listing page. The Notes tab also lists the added handoff notes when a module is assigned to a Respond user.

Note

You can upload up to 10 files simultaneously, with a maximum size of 100 MB each.

You can use the search bar to search for a note and use filters to filter the notes based on User Group, Type, or User.

Add Notes to Phase

Starting from Respondv3.4.8 (EA), you can add notes to a specific phase of an incident. In Response, go to the phase where you want to add notes and click Add Notes to Phase. Any notes added or updated at the phase level are captured in the activity logs.

Note

To add notes to specific phases, your admin must turn on the Enable Notes for Phases toggle in Admin > Configurations > Incident > Incident Notes.

Pin Notes in Incidents

You can pin important notes in incidents and easily access the notes during incident response. To pin a note in an incident, do the following:

  1. Go to Menu > Incidents.

  2. Open an incident and go to Mission Control > Notes on the left.

  3. Select a note and click Pin on the right.

To view all the pinned notes, click Pinned at the top.
