Configure Google Sign-in as the Authentication Method

You can use Google sign-in to authenticate into the application. Google sign-in mode enables you to use your Google account credentials to sign in to the application.

Before you Start

To sign in using the Google sign-in authentication method, ensure that the email ID of the Google account and the email ID of the user account entered in User Management are the same. For more information about adding users, see Create User.

Steps

  1. Login to the Cyware Central platform and go to Admin Settings > Authentication > Methods.

  2. Select Single Sign-on > Google Login and click Edit.

  3. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret of your Google Cloud platform.

  4. Click Save.

  5. To enable the Google Sign-in authentication method, toggle on the Single Sign-on switch. Ensure that the configuration is completed successfully before enabling this authentication method. The platform will show the available SSO authentication methods, where you can enable the Google Sign-in authentication method.

  6. Click Done.

After you configure and activate the Google Sign-in authentication method, users will see an option to log in using Google Sign-in on the login page.
