Import a Playbook from Playbook Store

You can add playbooks from the Playbook Store to My Playbooks and customize them to your organization’s requirements.

Before you Start 

Ensure that your user group has permission to Import Playbook.

Steps 

To import a playbook, follow these steps:

  1. In the main menu, select Manage Playbooks and click Playbook Store.

  2. You can import a playbook by hovering over it on the listing page and clicking Import, or by selecting it to view its details and then clicking Import.

    Note

    You can export the playbook from Canvas by clicking Export.

    When importing a playbook, the following situations may occur:

    • When importing a playbook, if the apps that are part of the playbook are not installed, then Import Playbook preview is displayed with the confirmation of apps that will be installed automatically before importing the playbook. After an app is imported, you can add instances to the newly installed apps. For more information on creating instances, see Work with App Instances.

    • If you are importing the same playbook again, a new copy of the playbook will be created with the current UTC timestamp added to the name.

  3. Click Import Playbook.

You will receive an email notification with the import status.

Manage Playbooks

You can perform the following activities to manage playbooks in the Playbook Store:

  • Filter playbooks based on the Category, Type, and Published on date.

  • Search playbooks based on their names.

  • Sort playbooks by playbook name or published on time, in ascending or descending order.

  • Save a new filter to reuse later or use saved filters.
