Leverage RSS Feeds
Once you have subscribed to an RSS feed, you can leverage the information from feed alerts.
In the All Feeds tab, navigate to a feed and click a specific alert. You can then perform the following actions:
To initiate or join a topic-based discussion, in the top-right corner of the alert, click the Messenger icon, and then select the relevant Recipient Group.
The Messenger module opens, with the feed alert topic displayed in the Topics tab.
In the top-right corner of the feed alert, click the ellipsis (...) icon, where the following options are available:
Create Action: Create an action associated with the feed alert and assign it to other Members. For more information, see Manage Actions.
Archive: Archive the feed alert. You can then view this alert in the Archived tab.
Bookmark: Bookmark the feed alert for importance. You can then view this alert in the Bookmarked tab.
Export: Opens the Print dialog box, where you can export and save the alert as a PDF, or select another destination, such as a printer, for offline analysis. You can also specify the number of pages and layout for the alert you want to export. All fields associated with the alert appear in the exported output.
